    		 A vigorous small tree with long, narrow green leaves with slightly pendulous branches. Masses of red bottlebrush flowers with gold anthers appear in spring and autumn providing nectar for bees and birds. Tolerant of a range of harsh conditions including poor dry soils once established, clay soil, but avoid wet or poorly drained soils, coastal and windy conditions.

    		 A vigorous large shrub, with short, narrow, stiff new leaves emerging a silvery-pink turning to mid- green. Masses of red bottlebrush flowers with gold anthers appear in spring and autumn providing nectar for bees and birds. Tolerant of a range of harsh conditions including poor dry soils once established, clay soil, but avoid wet or poorly drained soils, coastal and windy conditions. Trim after flowering to encourage bushiness. Easily trimmed for hedging.
