A very upright form of liriodendron tulipifera with a columnar growth habit. Unusual, green lyre-shaped leaves turn butter yellow in autumn. Fragrant, tulip like flowers appear late spring which are a greenish yellow with an orange band at base. Adaptable to clay soil, though best suited to well-drained conditions to avoid excessive moisture.
