A smaller tree with tropical dark green leaves with reddish stems, bronze new growth and long showy panicles of scented flowers that appear in late summer which have a bottlebrush like appearance. Description The parent plant to cultivars in New Zealand. One of the hardiest of the subtropical fruits, growing in most soils and tolerating several degrees of frost.
