• Description
Selected smaller growing compact bushy habit with smaller leaves compared to other Pohutukawa. Early flowering-bright orange/red flowers. Metrosideros flourish in coastal environments and are remarkably resilient, enduring poor soil conditions, excess moisture, and drought. They can withstand harsh elements such as salt-laden winds and arid landscapes. Additionally, they tolerate clay and wet soils, though thrive best in moist, well-drained earth. Excellent for smaller gardens and can easily be trimmed.
