Lagerstroemia De Puard – Crepe Myrtle

Indica type: Deciduous small tree with a compact rounded head that covers itself in lilac mauve crepe paper like flowers in summer. Lime green summer leaves turn brilliant red in autumn. Many cultivars with flowers of white, pink, mauve, red or purple hues. The bark is thin and smooth, with a mottled pinkish-gray colour and sheds each year to reveal a clean new surface.
